Consulting
Architect by training. Consulting by passion.
Before a building stands, there is a plan – and the discipline to carry it out. I approach projects and organizations the same way: first understand, then design together with the team, then build together. No ready-made blueprints, but solutions that fit your context – supported by AI tools where it makes sense.
Focus area
Project & Process Management
My core discipline. I run projects with methodological competence from both worlds – from classical phase planning to Scrum and Kanban. Which mix makes sense follows from the initiative, not from applying one method for its own sake.
Concretely, that means: I build resilient project structures, make processes visible, and make sure teams can deliver without getting lost in bureaucracy.
← Drag me in either direction – depending on the project.
- Hybrid, classical and agile project management
- Process analysis and design
- Method selection and toolset for teams
- Project reviews and stabilization of critical initiatives
Shaping change
Organizational Development & Transformation
Change succeeds when structure and culture fit together. I guide change initiatives so that employees are brought along – with clear goals instead of vague appeals.
- Change management and transformation support
- OKR introduction and goal systems
- Cultural transformation and new ways of collaborating
- Role, team and structure design
Enabling the new
Innovation Management
Ideas need a protected space to grow. I design formats where teams can experiment, learn and quickly arrive at tangible results.
- Design thinking processes and workshops
- Hackathons and innovation sprints
- Facilitation of ideation and strategy workshops
- Building innovation routines within teams
Impact
Better collaboration. Measurable results.
Good methods aren't an end in themselves. When teams collaborate better and projects run more effectively, that pays off on three levels.
Reduce costs
Less duplicated work, shorter alignment loops, clear priorities. Projects become more predictable – and cheaper to execute.
Increase revenue
Faster time to market, better products, focused teams. What creates impact reaches the market sooner – and generates revenue sooner.
Boost adoption
User-centered work means solutions that are genuinely needed get built. The result: happier customers and higher adoption rates.
The exact magnitude of the effect naturally depends on your starting point – we'll look at that for your context in the first conversation.
Consulting in Munich – personal, hybrid, effective
Why consulting from Munich for your project.
As an independent consultant, I work from Munich for companies of any size across Bavaria and the DACH region. On site in Sailerviertel (Schwabing), remotely at your location, or hybrid – depending on what your project needs. My background in architecture brings a rare combination: structured big-picture thinking paired with the craft of agile methods.
Whether classical project management, Scrum adoption, an OKR rollout or a hybrid combination – the choice of method follows your goal, not my preference. I advise startups at WERK1, mid-market companies across Bavaria, and large corporations in and around Munich. Cross-industry, because good process work works across industries.
Focus: change management and transformation. I guide companies in Munich and the DACH region through structural change – from agile rollouts to cultural change to organization-wide transformation. Change only succeeds when three dimensions align: structure (processes, roles, governance), culture (mindset, communication, leadership) and system (goals, steering, feedback). That's exactly where I focus – not with standard playbooks, but with an eye on your concrete context.
Frequently asked questions about consulting
Answers before your first conversation.
What is hybrid project management and when does it make sense?
Hybrid project management combines classical waterfall elements (fixed milestones, clear contractual deliverables) with agile elements (sprints, iterative delivery). It makes sense whenever one part of a project can be planned reliably (e.g. approval procedures, building law, budget frameworks), while another part requires adaptability (product development, software, change). From Munich, I advise companies on exactly this combination.
Do you only work with companies in Munich?
No. I'm based in Munich (Sailerviertel/Schwabing-West), but I work with clients across Bavaria and the DACH region – on site, remotely, or hybrid. I prefer to hold appointments in and around Munich in person; everything else happens online or as a travel appointment.
What company sizes is your consulting suited for?
From startups to large corporations. For startups it's often about building initial structures without bureaucracy; for mid-market companies it's about bridging grown processes with modern methods; for large corporations it's about concrete transformation projects. What matters isn't company size, but the question: does my way of working fit your initiative?
What does project consulting cost?
That depends on scope: a day rate or weekly rate for well-defined engagements, a monthly retainer for ongoing support, a fixed-scope engagement for clearly defined deliverables. I align my rates with the market level for consultants in Munich. After the first conversation, you get a transparent proposal with a clear scope – no fine print.
How long does a typical consulting project take?
Anywhere from a one-day sparring session to transformation support over 12+ months. Short projects (2–4 weeks) for focused tasks like OKR setup or process analysis. Medium projects (2–6 months) for team and process redesign. Long-term support (6–12+ months) for organization-wide transformations involving multiple teams.
What sets you apart from other Agile Coaches in Munich?
Three things: first, my architecture background (M.A., Technical University of Munich; Junior Architect of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects) – I think in systems, materials and structures. Second, my deliberately hybrid approach – I'm not a pure-play agile evangelist. Third, the combination of consulting, coaching and training from a single source, so that introduced methods keep living on after the project ends.
How does a change management engagement with you work?
Change starts with an honest assessment: where do you really stand, what's the trigger, and who is affected? From there, we develop a change design together that fits your culture and size – no copy-paste from a consulting playbook. I work along proven models (including Kotter, ADKAR, systemic consulting), but always prioritize your concrete context. Typical building blocks: stakeholder mapping, communication architecture, leadership coaching, training of multipliers, retrospectives and OKR-based steering.
What is agile transformation and when is it worthwhile?
Agile transformation is more than introducing Scrum in one team – it changes governance logic, role understanding and leadership mindset across larger parts of the organization. It makes sense when you need to decide faster in dynamic markets, when silos are slowing down value creation, or when strategic goals can't be reached through classical annual planning. Not worthwhile as an end in itself or a prestige project. I help you honestly assess whether a transformation is the right path – and, if so, define the scope together.
Have an initiative that needs structure?
Tell me about it. In our first conversation, we'll clarify what it's about and whether my way of working fits your project.
